U.S. CONTRACTOR WINS CONTRACT FROM CORDELIO POWER TO BUILD 185MW GLACIER SANDS

US contractor Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives has secured a contract from Cordelio Power to construct the 185MW Glacier Sands wind farm in Mason County in the state of Illinois.
The construction of this 185MW Glacier Sands wind farm will be ensured by subsidiary White Construction, subsidiary of Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives. It has already commenced limited construction work on the Glacier Sands project and is likely to receive full notice to proceed by March 2021 as completion is expected to get completed October 2021.
Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives’ subsidiary will self-perform all of the engineering, procurement and construction requirements of the project, including the construction of project roads, improvements of public roads along with the installation of collection systems and foundations and the erection of 43 turbines.
