With the climate conditions deteriorating the world is now understanding the gravity of our situation and they are now keen to make a change in order to survive as the battle of climate is now starting to knock the doors of the common masses.
Sweden has made astonishingly amazing progress in the renewable energy field and now powers almost half of its energy needs with renewables and has decreased its carbon emission share to the world substantially and aims to be carbon emission-free by 2040 which If it does achieve will be the first nation to do so. India and Sweden will be co-leading the industry transition under the high-level UN Climate Action Summit, hosted by Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, that will be aimed at creating stronger commitments from sectors of steel and cement and many more to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050. Amina Mohammed, UN Deputy Secretary-General, while addressing the industry transition program at the Climate Action Summit on Saturday stated that the collaboration between India, Sweden, the World Economic Forum and many others to kick this process off is leadership by example and the world looks forward to seeing how this leadership develops over the coming years.
This is aimed and hoped to combine the Swedish clean approach with the highly emotive sectors of the industry all around the globe and reduce the net emissions substantially hence slowing down the disastrous effects of Climate change over the near future. India being a huge market for both manufacture as well as consumption can make a huge difference if it adopted the Swedish clean and greenway.
