The Abu Dhabi Department of Energy (DoE) is working to overtake Dubai’s ‘Green Week’ event next week, as it also joins the 21st edition of the Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition (Wetex) as a ‘Diamond Sponsor’. This participation overlaps with the DoE’s part in the Dubai Solar Show and World Green Economy Summit (WGES).
DoE will take stand number DSP-07 in Hall 2 of the Dubai International Convention Centre, where, under the slogan, ‘Towards a New Energy Era’, it is set to for people to see the change of the Abu Dhabi energy section, as well as the DoE’s plans to ensure higher efficiency, sustainability, and eco-friendliness. The DoE will be providing its pavilion advanced technologies, as well as future situations predicted by the Abu Dhabi Integrated Energy Model.
The Abu Dhabi Department of Energy will also show the emirate’s experience and gains in the energy section as it takes part in many panel discussions during the week’s activities, discussing various methods to accelerate the adoption of solar energy technologies, and pointing out the importance of partnership between the public and private sections for the future of renewable energy.
Al Marar reiterated the DoE’s promise to supporting and sponsoring international events aimed at the energy, environment, and sustainability sectors, which are organized and hosted in the UAE. These events play a vital role in making the UAE a global hub for the section, offering a platform for sharing the ground-breaking experiences and achievements from the various local energy stakeholders, he explained.
