The United States has been claiming energy dominance for quite a time now, but the lack of efforts seen to achieve it made us doubt those claims but in the light of new information we believe that the nation might be up to something.
The European nations have been leading the energy game for quite a while now with extensive R&D in the energy field to amazing implementation of projects they have done it all. But the European funding and investments have seen a decline following a new report which states that the nations of the European continent spent 7 percent less than what it did the last year. While the United States ramped up the spending by 12 percent and spent 8.2 million USD which is a huge growth spur from the last year’s data. China is also catching up with the United States with nearly the same 12 percent increase in spending amounting to a whopping 8 billion dollars in the US. International Energy Agency is concerned about this decrease in the investments in the European continent and will be paying attention and making amends so as renewable energy development continues to progress just as we need it to.
The United States with this feat can now truly support its claim that it is pursuing energy dominance and will be achieving it soon if all goes well. This is a piece of good news for all of the worlds as these nations are the ones who have the most carbon emissions so this will really help the climate if they go on clean energy.
