The United Arab Emirates has finally grown-up in its portfolio by more than 400% in the last decade and is on track to double again in the next decade. Its pledge for clean energy has been fully revealed at the lately held Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, a global stage to fast-track the world’s sustainable development.
United Arab Emirates Minister of state and chairman of Masdar, Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber said that to balance their portfolio of clean energy, this year we will become the first country in the Middle East region to offer safe, marketable and peaceful nuclear energy power.
The United Arab Emirates walks the walk and not only talks the talk, when it is about delivering clean sustainable energy. They do this because it is correct and it also makes perfect economic sense. He was describing as to how the United Arab Emirates was connecting energy and technology of the future in order to drive sustainability.
Through initiatives like the Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park and Masdar, renewable energy projects calculating almost 12 gigawatts were initiated in the United Arab Emirates and in more than 30 countries around the world.
