Scotland has established itself as a global leader and a role model for the world in the renewable energy field and also clean and green approach towards all aspects of life.
Scotland has been making immense progress and heading towards its 100 percent renewable energy goal relentlessly. What with all the buzz of technical courses being pursued in the world and in the lieu of making money out of everything, Scottish kids are taking a different path and studying how they can make the world a better place by pursuing environment related courses and wanting to implement what they learn in their life. Students are studying courses ranging from energy finance and policy (University of Edinburgh) and countryside management (Scotland’s Rural College) to tourism sustainability and climate change (University of Glasgow). This information was found by a study conducted by the Scottish renewables aiming to make the world more aware of the climate emergency and making them shift towards renewable energy. This study is one of its kind. The figures have been released as part of the Scottish Renewable Energy Festival, which runs until October 1 and aims to reflect on Scotland’s renewables achievements to date, and on the sector’s future ambitions.
Scottish government has played a huge role in promoting this renewable energy trend to the nation and making the lives of people easier by making them know what good their transition has done to the society. Maybe the Scottish people sleep a sound sleep knowing that they aren’t a part of mass extinction level causing population while the rest of us live in the oblivion.
