The Renewable Energy Buyers Alliance has informed that it will partner with GreenBiz Group’s VERGE session and expo in 2020 to create a single event intended to hurry the transition to clean energy.
REBA and VERGE have held head-to-head events since 2017, part of a week-long series of meetings designed to drive forward the clean economy. In 2020 the event of VERGE 20 will be held in the San Jose Convention Center during October 27-29.
They are excited to take our partnership with REBA to the next level accordingly to the vice president and executive director of VERGE. Uniting the REBA and VERGE 20 will deliver a supreme chance for renewable energy buyers and key investors to explore solutions and foster cross-sector partnerships to address barriers to progress. This is what’s needed to create clean, strong energy systems amid the rising disturbances in a warming world.
Both events are planned to provide the tools, properties and networks needed to decarbonize the economy. This fall’s session and expo also supports REBA’s goal of catalyzing 60 gigawatts (GW) of new renewable energy developments by 2025.
The scale, scope and speed of the change to a clean energy economy needs new forms of partnership, across the market and also between mission-aligned governments like REBA and GreenBiz. Integrating REBA’s collaboration with VERGE provides a unique chance to unlock the market potential of a cleaner, wealthy, zero-carbon energy future.
