Further concerns at the SPD website: a group of people concerned in Spotsylvania County, VA has found violations of the negotiated stipulations in the SUPPORT licensing system for the construction of 500 MW solar power plants in Spotsylvania State. Nonetheless, the last claims have been settled but in the negotiated 100 feet area a vegetative buffer is supposed to protect solar panels from an adjacent property. There are two lawsuits. “The 460-acre Twin River Solar Power Plant is to be constructed in Hamilton County. Duke Energy Florida announces that there will be two newest solar plants. The Santa Fe Solar Power Plant will be constructed on around 600 acres of land in County Columbia and is to be supplied with approx. 235.000 monitoring solar panels, enough power to produce approx. 23,000 homes. The 74.9 MW plant will comprise around 235,000 solar panels that produce more than 23,000 carbon-free energy… DEF will develop, own, operate and maintain both solar power plants. It is expected to break ground in March 2020. Now, the completion is scheduled for the end of 2020.
