The fourth annual Global Energy meeting of the Atlantic Council will take place in Abu Dhabi from 10 to 12 January 2020, setting off the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week again.
Once, the Forum will be conducted under the supervision of His Highness Sheik Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince and United Arab Emirates Armed Forces Deputy Supreme Commander.
The three-day high-level ceremony brings together international and regional political, industry, and thought leaders to put the world energy ideology for the coming year and analyse the altering energy system’s long-term geopolitical and geo-economic implications. In a new century of global politics, the 2020 symposium will emphasis on the role of oil and natural gas in the energy transition, funding the future of energy, and interconnections. Following the regional focus on East Asia of the 2019 Global Energy Forum, the 2020 forum will highlight South and Southeast Asia as a rising scarcity centre.
The 2019 Forum took more than 500 energy and foreign policy executives from around the globe to Abu Dhabi, including CEOs, policymakers, global media and industry professionals.
The Forum is conducted in collaboration with the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Energy and Industry, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), and Crescent Pe, based in Sharjah, Mubadala Investment Company.
